Positive COVID

BCS was informed by the ACDOH that one or more BCS students have tested positive for COVID. All students and families of contacts to positive student(s) in the school have been contacted.

As we prepare for the return of all students on April 19th, it is important for the school, students, and families to continue to follow all COVID safety protocols, including wearing face coverings and social distancing. Students and staff should not come to school if they have any COVID symptoms, which include:

  • Runny nose
  • Cough
  • Headache
  • Congestion
  • Fatigue
  • Fever

With the return of all students to full-time, in-person learning, everyone will have increased interactions with people. It is even more important to follow the safety protocols that have worked to keep BCS open all year. Although it is not mandated, it may be a good idea to keep your child home from school if they have been in close contact with a person who was recently tested for COVID, until that person’s results are received.

If you have any questions about when to keep your child home, please do not hesitate to contact me or Mrs. Giboo.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
