Scholastic Challenge

BCS students are able to participate in JV and Varsity Scholastic Challenge competitions. The event, organized by CA BOCES, and has students from a two county region.

Scholastic Challenge is a competition for students in grades 7-12 (junior division grades 7-9 and senior division grades 10-12) where they are able to compete in a quiz bowl like setting against other schools. Questions are widely drawn from academic topics as well as current events, sports and pop culture. The competition is usually held in the fall.
