Students may be required to do Article Summaries. These articles allow students to learn outside of the classroom about a subject related to Physical Education. PE is a very broad topic and includes many very interesting subject areas. Each article summary will have a point value determined by the PE teacher. Articles done on time and according to the assignment rubric will receive full credit.
At the end of each quarter the student’s grade is determined by adding all the points the student actually earned, then divided by the number of points they could have earned during the quarter.
Students should anticipate written and skills tests at the end of the different units. Each test will have a point value and be added into the overall points possible to receive per quarter.
